Destiny 2 The Dawning Quest (2023)

The Dawning Event has returned and once again, Guardians have the opportunity of being able to get several great rewards but everyone needs to begin in the same way.

With the event now active, a returning quest that has the same name as the event (The Dawning) becomes available to get started. (Which also provides you with the Holiday Oven)

During the multiple steps of this quest, Guardians who are both experienced and fresh will be able to go through the basics of baking and giving gifts to NPCs.

How To Get The Dawning Quest?

The Dawning (Quest) becomes available once the event is live and you can take your first leap into baking and gift-giving by speaking to Eva Levante.

You can find her in the Courtyard and she will be easy to spot once you make it to The Tower, which can be traveled to via the Destinations Menu.

Select The Tower and choose the Courtyard as your Landing Zone and this will allow you to fast travel to the location where you can find Eva Levante.

The Dawning Event Quest 2023 Walkthrough

The Dawning 2023 Quest begins with you baking a gift for Commander Zavala, which will be Gjallardoodles and once this is done, you will need to give it to him.

You will have already received the required ingredients by this time since Eva Levante will have given you some to start with.

To make Gjallardoodles, open up your Quests Menu and you will find Eva’s Holiday Oven 2.1, which can be accessed by selecting “details” when viewing it.

Head over to Commander Zavala after you have made the Gjallardoodles and speak with him to give him the gift. (You will be rewarded with Dawning Delivery)

After giving Commander Zavala the Gjallardoodles, it’s time for you to get an idea of how you can claim the Event Challenges.

Open up your Quests Menu and you will be able to view your Event Card or speak with Eva Levante as this also allows you to access it.

You will need to accept the first challenge, which is “Dawn of the Dawning” and this will unlock the rest of the challenges on the card.

Once this has been done, you will need to head back to Eva Levante as she will need to know that you have successfully given a gift to Commander Zavala.

After speaking with Eva Levante, you will have obtained Dawning Spirit, which is used to purchase upgrades from her.

The first upgrade that will be available is the Merrymaker Upgrade and this will allow you to receive a Boon of Friendship from her every day.

After purchasing an upgrade, you will now be able to accept the Cookie Delivery Helper quest, which completes The Dawning quest.

The Dawning Rewards 

After you have completed The Dawning quest, you will now be able to continue collecting ingredients and baking goodies to gift to NPCs.

This will allow you to progress to obtaining more rewards during the time of the event until it ends, which makes it important to make the most out of it.

The Cookie Delivery Helper becomes one of your most active quests during The Dawning event and will be something to grind to get the Star Baker Title.
